About Us.....
Okeover Harbour Authority employs Krystle, Harbour Manager, and Karen, Assistant Wharfinger. Administration and accounting is done by Lynn.
The Board of Directors is made up of Aquaculture farmers and local business, remote resident or recreational dock users.
For nine months of the year the majority of boat traffic is locals - aquaculture, contractors and remote residents. During the summer months the Harbour is very busy with recreational traffic, many there because of the Laughing Oyster Restaurant. We are adjacent to the Tux w'nek (Okeover Arm) campground which offers access to the rocky shoreline - often busy with people filling their permitted quota of wild oysters (license required by law).
